Reinhart was born in Germany in 1950 and attended a Jesuit Boarding School from 1960 to 1969. Reinhart received his BA in Literature and Philosophy from Trinity College University of Toronto and then spent a brief time at the University of Florence in Italy, before going to Massey College University of Toronto under scholarship completing a Masters degree in Literature. From there Reinhart went on to McGill Law School Montreal and received his Law Degree. In 1977 Reinhart joined his now law firm, Stewart, Aulinger & Company, of which he is the owner and where he still practices law today specializing in Business and International Law. Reinhart’s interest in SOS Children’s Village BC began when he became legal representative for SOS Kinderdorf e.V. Reinhart attributes his interest in social issues to his parents’ upbringing of him and his schooling. Reinhart has been involved with SOS BC since 2000.
