Da Boyz & Tap Pups: New York Style Rhythm Tap

Da Boyz, seasoned young veterans, and Tap Pups, 7 to 10 year old boys, have been raising the roof and taking home numerous awards with their unbridled enthusiasm, unique chorography and sheer talent.

Da Boyz have been thrilling audiences for years with their seasoned performances.  They have traveled to the World Championships in Germany, winning a silver medal for Canada; and they have won several awards for Best in Category and Best in Festival.  These young men will dazzle you with their style and personalities. 

Tap Pups are a talented group of 7-10 year old boys who dance beyond their years and thrill audiences with their enthusiasm.  Recently, the Tap Pups were declared Best in Festival at the 2007 Dance Power Competition.  They perform original choreography with precise execution and they exude their passion for tap.

Both boys’ ensembles are under the direction of Mika Komatsu, Youth Program Director, Vancouver Tap Dance Society.
