Caleb is four. He has the biggest smile you have ever seen. And now, Caleb can count to 20 and knows all the letters in the alphabet! Caleb has been attending the Homework Club since September with the “big kids”. At first he only wanted to color and play, but eventually, the idea of numbers and letters sounded fun. So, he sits with the teacher and reads the cue cards off like an old pro now. With each correct answer he squirms, smiles and then gets impatient for the next card. Caleb may have an uphill battle in school, given his rocky start in life, but thanks to the Homework Club, he has some help getting up that hill.

Josh isn’t satisfied with his grades. He has been working so hard and attending Homework Club consistently, but he is still not happy with the marks that show up on his report card. You see, Josh, with renewed confidence and support through the Homework Club. Josh has his sights on the “A” honour roll this year and he is almost there, with the exception of two “B’s”. We know there are bigger problems, we really know, that is why we are so excited that achieving an A instead of a B is the only one Josh is concerned with right now…it means that Josh is doing pretty great!
