
SOS Children’s Village BC received from The Megahair Family a cheque for $1,400 to support the SOS Village and programs. The money was raised during the months of November and December through the sale of Christmas ornaments at the Megahair Family stores : Megahair Salons, Zennkai Salons and Eccotique Spas & Salons

The 16th Annual Parade of Trees supported by Coast Capital Savings and RE/MAX raised over $60,000 to support the only SOS Children’s Village in Canada. The event featured 26 decorated trees at the top of Grouse Mountain and was visited by thousands of Lower Mainland residents.

SOS Children's Village BC received several boxes of toys, games and books donated by HSBC Bank Canada employees as part of the annual Future First Toy Drive. Future First is the HSBC Group’s global initiative for street children, orphans and children in care.

SOS Children’s Village BC received from the BC Hydro Power Pioneers Pacific Branch a collection of new books for the children living in our village in Surrey. Our village in Surrey is the only SOS Children’s Village in Canada. The Power Pioneers motto is “Continuing a Lifetime of Service to our Communities”.

SOS Children’s Village BC received $5,000 from the BMO Employee Charitable Foundation at the 100th anniversary celebration of the opening of the BMO Cloverdale branch.
